[THIN] Re: ICA won't launch

That does sound like the permissions on the MSLicensing key.  Does it work if you are signed on as local admin?

I will have to try removing the Hardware key,
I did install full PN, no help.
I have right-clicked, saved the ICA file and tried to launch manually, again no go.

Can you download files from a browser or do you have a policy set that restricts that?  From the web client try right clicking on the application and saving the launch.ica file and running that.

No error messages that I can see.  It just doesn't launch.  As far as I can tell it doesn't even attempt to start a connection.  From looking at task manager and I did try FILEMON, i couldn't find any evidence it even tried to launch the Wfica process.  Admittedly I am only able to access it through a "RescueMe" session.

What is the error message?  Can you access through the PN client instead of using an ICA file?  Is the client coming in through a firewall?

Subject: [THIN] ICA won't launch

I think I posted on this before, but I have a client who still cannot launch the ICA files.
I have taken the following steps to no avail
He is running XP SP2 and IE6

1) Un-installed web client and re-installed with Full PN client (version 11)
2) Cleared Temp files in IE.
3) Unchecked "Do not save encrypted files to disk
4) Cleared the HLKM/software/Microsoft/MSLicensing/Store?license00x keys
5) Run wfica32.exe /setup
6) Removed Google and Yahoo Toolbars.
7) Double checked file associations.

I have tried right-clicking and saving the ICA file, then launching it manually.  Still no luck
I think next I will try an exorcism.
