[THIN] Using CPS 4.5 Consoles to access CPS4.0

I have not spotted anything saying I can or can't use the 4.5 consoles (AMC and CMC) to access CPS 4.0 farm from my desktop.

Can anyone point me to a document where it is indicated?  Or confirm for me there are no issues accessing 4 from 4.5 consoles if they are installed on my pc?
