[THIN] Re: Google announces Chrome Browser

I agree with you!.   To me competition is GREAT!!!  AWESOME and AMAZING... That is why I’m a capitalist!!!   But, people think Google and Apple do no evil and are here to help us and not themselves and they say Microsoft is everything Google and Apple are not.  That is a big bag of s#$t and that is my problem.  For the most part Microsoft is easy to deal with vs. the others... But you don’t see that on the popular culture blogs and such.  It is all about how bad Microsoft is....  That is just wrong.. And it upsets me...

Ok, so now back to my Buddhist meditation to calm me down a bit. ;)

So do you think you’re getting a lot of value from your software assurance? In a free market economy competition generally works out well for the consumer in the way of better products at lower cost. I’m personally much more of a fan of MS than I am of Google but competition is good from my perspective. Regardless – for the sake of argument let’s not call MS an evil empire…perhaps a benevolent dictator that stays benevolent as long as their loyal subjects continue paying their “taxes”? J

I disagree... Microsoft is anything but evil.   I love them as they are easy to work with, easy to write for, and for the most part it works...

I must admit I've become somewhat of a Mac guy over the past 3 years and I've learned how nice Microsoft is compared to Apple, and Apple is suppose to be so flipping great and easy.

1) My Mac locks up all the time
2) iTunes DRM is a joke. I buy it but I don't own it and I can only have 5 machines on it and if I don't deactivate I have to beg them.
3) iPhone.. shall I go into what it takes to be an iPhone developer?   You have to pay and then if the gods at Apple "allow" you then you can sell iPhone apps.  Microsoft does not do this...
4) Lies... Apple commercials are flat out mistruths... period.

So, I will take Microsoft any day. They are truly, for a company their size and power, the easiest to work with, use, and support!!!!

Now if Google becomes the 'standard' then I hope they overcome the problems we have with them. I mean, if I have problems with my site on the Google search who do I call?  I can't... but when BMW was blacklisted for breaking serious SEO rules they just called Google and they were back on in minutes.. I can't do that.. nor can any of you, unless you work for some mega company.  To me that is evil...

Microsoft IS NOT!

Upside is the world definitely needs a better browser interface

Downside is Google is becoming dangerously like an evil empire, wanting all of our apps and data and communications in their framework……
