[THIN] Re: IMA crashes after changing user profile root

Matt,

The registry value you adjusted defines the location of where NEW profiles to the system would be created at. As well, of course, this setting is also where windows will look for the default users and all user's folders to base a new user's profile from.

Any Existing profiles already on the system prior to you updating that registry value, will already have their paths defined as being on C:\documents and settings.

To adjust existing profiles, you'd need to comb through the \ProfileList sub keys, and under the SID's adjust the value for "ProfileImagePath" to the new location that you've copied the local profiles too.

The only user account that IMA should care about is the CitrixSMA account. If you're doing a re-install of MF, either, update the ProfileImagePath for the CitrixSMA user, or make sure that that account, it's profile and it's listing under \profilelist is cleared off the system before you re-install.
