[THIN] Re: Ericom?

They have an interesting (Free) add-on to vanilla TS for W2k8 which we trialled. Allows for full granularity in app publishing, both through Web and their own client. Works nicely.

However, I never managed to get the free licence out of them despite numerous calls to their UK office – I think administrative inertia rather than trying to row back on the free promise.

One of the nice things about them is that they offer an SPLA-equivalent licensing scheme, so that rather than paying a flat fee, you pay x per month per user – if you have 200 this month then 150 next month and 300 the month after then the price goes up and down with the user count. Very handy for service providers.

Ericom has been around forever. We used to use them for Terminal Emulation. They had a great DEC VT220 emulator.

anyone ever herd of Ericom and Powerterm Webconnect?

got a mailing from one of their partners.  Just curious if anyone knows them.  I have never heard of them before.
