[THIN] Re: OT: Outlook send from different email address

Exchange/Outlook will resolve to the “Display Name” or “Alias”…

I’m using 1 mailbox that has multiple email addresses assigned to my mailbox. So “send as” doesn’t really come into play.

You probably don't have the right permissions on Exchange.

Make sure your AD account has Send As rights for both mailboxes.

Tried that and then I can select my name. However I still don’t have a way to select a different email address. I could create multiple mailbox and accounts but I was hoping for a cleaner solution.

For example, my Exchange mailbox has email address 1@domainname.com and 2@domainname.com. The primary email address is 1@domainname.com and every time I send an email that is the from address. When I send a mail I want to be able to select 2@domainname.com as the from address.

I have multiple email addresses bound to a single account in Exchange 2003. When I send an email the “Primary” email address is used to send the message. How can I select a different email address as the sending email address?

I’m using Exchange 2003 with Outlook 2003.

Thanks for any suggestions on this. I’ve tried googling this but not finding much relevant to this.
