I don't recall what all I originally did to kill the quick launch bar (didn't use GPOs) but due to whining, oh, sorry, I meant " due to legitimate business needs" I'm trying to re-enable them. I've gotten as far as making it appear again for the users, but they can't drag & drop stuff on to it - they get the circle with the slash.
They have full permission to the app data\m$\IE\quicklaunch folder under their profile, and I can manually put stuff in that folder and it appears and works. user don't have access to the system drives.
Ideas?
