[THIN] Re: Java

My guess would be that there are other files that Java needs to run.  Maybe some .jar files or something.  I'm surprised that you are not seeing it with Filemon.  What other restrictions besides "run only allowed apps" are there?  Make sure there isn't another restriction set that is hurting you.

We have found that if a server in our restricted policy group, with run only allowed applications set (includes javaw.exe), users are unable to run the Java applications.  If we move the server to a group with no application restrictions, these work fine.

 

I am using filemon and not finding anything in the details that is not in the allowed applications list.

 

Any ideas of something I am missing for Java?
