[THIN] Re: Citrix Install Error

Getting warmer.  The SQL server that throws the error is in cluster, the one that works is stand alone.
Anyone seen problems with installing to a clustered database?

Just tried another SQL 2005 box and it worked.  Will try to sort out the difference tomorrow.

Thanks for the link, Jim.  Tried building the farm on SQL 2000 and it installed without error.  Environment requires SQL 2005.  That seems to be where my problem lies.

Check this post in the archives. You'll have to create a new db and check some options with it.

Greetings, List.

I am having a stubborn issue installing XenApp 5.0 on a 2003 Sp2 vm guest.

Here is the error I am running into:

Error 26013. Function InitializeTree2 returned failure in CTX_IMA_InitializeTree2 the database username or password may be wrong

It happens near the end of the install.

I have:

Verified the Database permissions
Verified the password and username
Tried a different server
Googled and tried all of the "fixes".
Windows update
Latest .net

Anyone ever see this one before?
