[THIN] Re: Edgesight 4.5 error loading payload issue

Thanks Berny, answers to each question are..

I understand what a foreign key etc is, but my question is, why is
there a conflict? What else is in that table?

Ive just browsed to the table and there's actually nothing in it.
I would be looking at %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Citrix\System
Monitoring\Data\SYS_DATA.TXT to see if there is any reference to the
local hostname for the agent. See if there is a conflict in that.

Checked for this on one of the Citrix servers, this file doesnt exist

Did you build a custom package for the agent which has a hostname
built into it which is getting rolled across multiple clients?

No, just installed it manually via the .msi file

Is there anything in:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Citrix\System Monitoring\Agent\EdgeSight\4.00\

which refers to an incorrect local hostname?
No

Are you using a CNAME / Alias for:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Citrix\System
Monitoring\Agent\EdgeSight\4.00\Netaccess\ServerName  (Is it using
this as part of what's in the machid column that's tripping up the
foreign key)

No, as its just using the IP address

Dont suppose any of this helps ??

My real question is, what's in:

database "EdgeSight", table "dbo.machine", column 'machid'. What's the
FK_SInstance_machine?

I understand what a foreign key etc is, but my question is, why is
there a conflict? What else is in that table?         Ive just browsed to the table and there's actually nothing in it.

Anything after this is wild and pure speculation by myself not knowing
enough about the product. They could be questions worth asking
though.......
