Does the application event log have any MSI events? Does one of them indicate a missing file or missing registry key?

sort of an annoying issue - every time a user launches visio 2007 the windows installer pops up for a few seconds before visio opens. close and relaunch, does it again. I found one article for an older version that mentioned missing language values in the registry, but they're there.
