Unfortunately, the GUI (including explorer) is pretty much the same as Vista. That is where the similarity ends. Like Jim said, W2K8 runs circles around Vista.

It isn't just Vista. It is also Windows 2008 server SP2.
I heard at a technical seminar recently that W2K8 is really Vista SP1 under the covers.
