i would make the security guys do it if they are in such a twist to see it happen.

You can set the passwords to whatever you want and you can even use Domain Accounts provided you make the appropriate provisions to the local security policy (which can be pushed via GPOs) and other local resources (ICA Channel for example).  It's probably not what you want to hear, but it'll make your security folks happy.

All have system controlled passwords.  Does anyone know definitively the password strength used and whether the system changes the password on its own periodically?

I'm trying this question again since I put it out late Friday afternoon.  I hope there's an answer available.
