I was wondering whether anyone can confirm something.
Im looking at disabling error reporting using a policy but it isn't applying.
I have read all the information and now I think that system.adm is incorrect.
System .adm from a 2003 SP1 / SP2 and a 64 bit SP2 servers gives an entry
KEYNAME "Software\Policies\Microsoft\PCHealth\ErrorReporting"
VALUENAME DoReport
VALUEON NUMERIC 0
VALUEOFF NUMERIC 1
VALUEON NUMERIC 0
VALUEOFF NUMERIC 1
The Software\Policies\Microsoft\PCHealth\ErrorReporting is being updated but the values are being ignored.
When I manually turn off error reporting the DoReport value is changed under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PCHealth\ErrorReporting
Has anyone else come across this ?
