heard of some people having product activation problems with Photo
Editor (although Photo Editor does not have an activation menu
itself). I suspect that you would need a license for Office, even if
you only want Photo Editor. MS Discontinued their bundling of Kodak
Imaging after Windows 2000 - you can still get it on XP/Vista, but you
need a license: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308979

- suggests that if you *upgraded* from Office XP, you can still
install Photo Editor.
Best thing would be to speak with MS and ask them about a license
solely for Photo Editor.
If that isn't workable, perhaps you could check out Paint.NET, which
