[THIN] Re: Flexprofiles Not Clearing Down - CLR Security Config

Yes, you're quite right - REMPROF didn't delete stray partial profiles from the local drive because once a
profile file structure has lost its core elements like NTUSER.DAT, it can no longer be deemed as a
profile with any form of SID, instead it is just a clump of abndoned files.

Previously REMPROF /A would delete profiles that had no username association. i.e. The username had
been deleted in Active Directory but a profile still existed in form of a SID.

After experiencing first hand how many times profiles do not clear properly on exit and leave a partial
file strcuture behind, I have modified REMPROF to also delete these abandoned file structures. So now
you can clear out your documents and settings area and just keep the profiles that should be there.

Download the latest version of REMPROF from http://www.ctrl-alt-del.com.au/CAD_TSUtils.htm and run
REMPROF /A from a command line.

You can a also schedule this to run on a regular basis.

I hope that helps everyone.
