[THIN] Explorer.exe variables

I'm looking to publish some folder shares in PS4.0 and would like to configure these as Application type (as opposed to Content). I understand that I'll use explorer.exe in the command path but wanted to get a feel for how the variables are used with this command. So, examples I've run into are:

 

c:\windows\explorer.exe i:

 

or

 

C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe "%*"

 

Is there a handy reference that explains what these variables are and how they're used?
