[THIN] Re: Citrix upgrade from 4.5 to XenApp

Jim Kenzig did a video – it can be straightforward if you’re upgrading a simple implementation.

The issue you might find is the richness of the new WI means that corporate customisation is more of a faff than it used to be – and you’ll need to update consoles as well.

Thanks for your help.

Sounds easy, as I thought but I am always unsure when something in manuals/readmes etc sounds too easy.

Is there any issuws with the Web Interface, does it upgrade smoothly.

Hi,

We currently have a Citrix PS 4.5 and as part of our Citrix advantage subscriptions want to upgrade to XenApp,.

Is there any gotchas that anyone is aware of for this upgrade.

I understand it can be done as put disk into $.5 Server and run Setup.

TIA for your help

Graeme
