Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen,

Hope you all have a great start in the summer and are doing well. First of all thanks very much to those who

have been part of PubForum 2008 Dublin for making it such a great fun and delivering such a great content

and also being so great and well organized attendees! It was of great help to make Dublin's PubForum a

success.

Like I already announced before, this year we are back to have PubForum twice a year and like a 3 years ago

the second PubForum this year is going to happen in Nice.

A great, warm, beautiful location while it is already cold in north of Europe. The ones who have been there

in 2005 know what I'm talking about – a marvelous experience just 2 flight hours away.

The Event is going to happen from Friday November 7 to Sunday November 9, 2008 in Nice City Center in a very

lovely Hotel "Novotel Nice Centre Acropolis" (GPS. N 43° 42' 28.21''  E 7° 16' 55.01'').

I followed your advice to make it in the city center – and it is indeed just 5 – 8 walking minutes from it. Prices

start from 89 EUR a night when using Accor's "City Break offer" or 110 – 120 EUR with a special PubForum rate.

If your budget is tight you still have a great list of Hotels to choose – for example IBIS Hotel Nice Centre Gare

49 EUR a night (GPS :    N 43° 42' 13.18''  E 7° 15' 38.89'').

Just paste the GPS coordinates into the http://maps.google.com to find the location. IBIS is 15 min walk from

Novotel or 5min taxi ride. Another advice for you.

Ryanair is selling their tickets for Winter Season at incredibly low rates and even give the tickets away for free until

Thursday Midnight – so it make sense to book it now (Thanks Aidan for this Info). Few  of my Irish mates have

been thinking of going back on Sunday morning to save the Sunday Hotel cost, but here is the tip – on Sunday you

can move to a clean, comfortable ETAP Hotel Aeroport for just 47 EUR a night (GPS. N 43° 40' 1.93''  E 7° 12' 56.45'').

Don't miss out Sunday!

With this PubForum we want to introduce couple new things you have been asking for. First and the most interesting

is – we will have SIX 4 to 5 hours Expert Classes in a dedicated room up to 12 Students where the true experts of the

Topic will deliver you a great amount of their knowledge on things like XenDesktop, Microsoft Hyper V, XenApp 5,

TS + Softgrid, XenServer Troubleshooting and Citrix NetScaler. If you want to become a Student of any of those it will

only cost you just 30 EUR more for a class, just as usual to cover the setup of the class – just that. After all PubForum is

non commercial event and is meant for you to get the most value of your time and money. Because the Sessions are

recorded and of course offered for later download you won't miss a thing and you can always engage the presenters

during our evening networking or throughout the day.

Another new thing will be better organized socializing and networking part – like in Dublin we will choose a nice place

to fit for us all and this place is going to rock – we are working hard on finding the right location at the minute.

Full agenda will be ready one month before the event. We will have now better organized lunch time, allow more time

for breaks between long sessions, be better organized on schedule, have better video quality of recorded sessions,

offer Online Forum for PubForum attendees, list of attendees in a special private area just for attendees, wireless

network working from day one (with hopefully support of our PF Dublin Super Hero Sasa Masic), probably with a Virtual

Lab to play with, better communication offering between the attendees and of course great presenters and sessions!

Now 4,5 Months before the event I kindly ask you to send me your proposals for the Topic's – but we definitely will cover –

XenApp, XenServer, XenDesktop, AppDelivery, MS Terminal Services 2008, Softgrid, Microsoft and VmWare Virtualization,

64bit, VMD, VDI, SBC Project Management, Performance Monitoring, User & Printer Management, good Case studies

and Best Practices and of course have not any less important third party products too – about 20 sessions all together!

I hope to also see again our Discussion Forum Leader Daniel Shoppmann – the last Discussion Forum on Sunday was a great

and valuable experience!

I would really love to see more of you as presenters at the event – after all that is a great way to share with the community

and through the recorded sessions with the whole world your knowledge and expertise – last month visitors from all over

the world downloaded over 380GB of presentations! We are very open to your ideas, proposals and presentation offerings.

Big thanks to our past and future supporting companies – you make your Company to be heard by experts and you provide

an invaluable support to the community. If you are interested to support us this time again just write me an email please.

Thank you!

Those who are hosting blogs and website – thank you for your continuing support. As usual I would really appreciate your

support in posting a short info on the Event on your Blog's, websites or Email distribution lists! Thanks a lot Gentlemen –

Aidan Finn, Alexander Ervik Johnsen, Wilco van Bragt, Michel Roth, Charles Aunger , Douglas Brown, Jim Kenzig, Shawn Bass,

Patrick Rouse, Neil Spellings, Dmitry Vostokov, Rich Crusco, Gus Pinto and everyone else I may have forgot to mention!

Now on the Price – "Really Early Bird" 125 EUR valid till June 25, plus 10% off if it is your 3+ Event, "Early Bird" Price 150 EUR,

plus 10% off if it is your 5+ Event and just 200 EUR after October the 1st, 2008. Booking everything well in advance can save

you loads of money and will make your experience a great non commercial event, have great times, meet extraordinary and

very knowledgeable people like yourself at a price no one can beat! Please contact me when you want to book yourself a

place and get the discount whether 3+ or 5+ for the PubForum Nice!
