[THIN] Re: Computer name on Screen

Bginfo should be able to give me something, although I don't it'll give me a colored bar at the top of the screen that will always overlap other programs.
I'll keep looking.

Thanks,

I mostly would like to use it on the Desktops (PCs), but it can come in handy on Terminal servers as well.
What I've seen is definitely not KVM options.  It's just a bar on the top of the screen (Dekstop), as if it were part of your Desktop wallpaper.

Desktop or servers?  Many KVM place the name of the current machine that’s in focus on the screen.

Hi all:

I've seen computers that have a colored bar (with the computer name) at the top of the Desktop.  That bar stays there whether a user is logged on or not.

How can I set that up?
That would be really useful to me.

TIA.
