[THIN] Re: publish application

Shiva -

Somewherevon your network, get a Citric Web Interface setup and running and ok that server, create a Program Neighborhood Agent (PNAgent) site.

Once that is running, modify the Citrix client setup on the servers hosting your published desktop and add the program neighborhood agent URL you setup on the web interface server.

There is some adjusting and wrestling involved but that is general idea.

Shiva

See here for citrix client - http://www.citrix.com/English/ss/downloads/details.asp?downloadId=1681207&productId=186&c1=sot2755

Under XenApp i believe its no longer called Program Neighborhood Agent, but "Citrix XenApp Plugin" - (i.e the agent renamed)

The others are
"Citrix XenApp Web Plugin" - for web access
"Program Neighborhood" - the standard neighborhood application

The PNAgent needs to have a web interface setup specifically for it

Look up "webinterface" (depending on your version) from here http://support.citrix.com/productdocs/ (bottom of the page) for configurational information for your environment.

Cheers

If you wish to see the published applications show up on the Start Menu and/or Desktop of a Published Desktop then you will need to Install and Configure PNAgent.  PNAgent is what is used to provide that functionality.
