Windows unzip doesn't work. Use WinZip, WinRAR, or similar.

 

FYI, The XA 5.0 CD for Windows 2003 is identical to the CPS 4.5 with Feature Pack 1 CD. There is absolutely no difference. XA 5.0 for 2003 does not update the CPS code.

 

To get the XA 5.0 stuff, download the Components CD or download the components individually. The components are WI 5.01, EdgeSight 5.0, Licensing 11.5, Streaming Profiler and Client 1.2, Client 11.0. Licensing 11.5 is not included on the Components CD.

 

EdgeSight 5.0 replaces Resource Manager but it requires a separate EdgeSight server and SQL Reporting Services. If the EdgeSight agent is installed on an Enterprise Edition XA server, it runs in "Basic" mode but if the XA server is Platinum then it runs in "Advanced" mode.
