If you run filemon you may discover that it's looking for missing files in c:\windows\installer

and yes, why not go with R03?

Hi,

I have a site where they are unable to install PSE450W2K3R01.

Product: Citrix Presentation Server for Windows - Update 'PSE450W2K3R01' could not be installed. Error code 1603

We have patched VC++ and are running License Servre 11.5 => prerequisites are fulfilled.

MSI Log stated that the patch could not be installed and failed with error code 1603

Any suggestions as to what to look for, or any recommendations for more recent patches?
