[THIN] Re: Blank blue screen...

I've seen this happen when they have updates pending at logoff.  If you log on as local admin and then tell it to do a shutdown it will ask you to install Updates and then shutdown.  Once the updates were installed the machine came up ok.

We have a problem....

We are finding a # of machines, that you can log onto, but then you get nothing but a blue screen, no wallpaper, no icons, no start menu.  Can get to taskmanager, can run new process, but iexplore runs and stops, explorer runs then stops.  Admin shares not working, computer manager not working.

Seems to affect a specific model of PC, but not every one of that model we have.

Finding nothing with virus scanners.  Finding we re-image them or run an XP repair, they work for a short time, then drop off the network.

ANY help would be appreciated.
